ORGANIZE YOUR STASH (or how to justify buying one more skein of yarn)
Laura Bryant of Prism Yarns (awesome hand-dyed yarns and the signature yarn, "Stuffs,") shared one of her techniques for organizing colors. Most of us think of colors as a rainbow or a color wheel. We separate colors according to the wheels, and then can't see which colors work well with each other. Laura helps you to think about colors as values from dark to light, to create fabulous blends. Watch her introductory video, and think about combining some of the newest fibers with some treasures that have been "hibernating."
SOME ADVICE FOR COMPLETING THOSE UFO'S (unfinished objects) Not sure if you want to begin something new when you have so many started projects? Select one, two, or three WIPS (works in progress) that you have to finish first. Work on them 10 minutes a day, even when you're tired. After 10 minutes, work on anything you want. Do you realize that adds up to 5 hours each month! Just added to our classes and special services: a service to help you work on projects that have been hibernating because you need help.
