A-MAJOR -KNITWORK is a "one-stop shop." We sell a complete
supply of
knitting and crocheting materials to see the projects through from start
to
finish.
Custom pattern Bring us a sweater that you love, or bring us a photo of a garment. Pick a yarn, make a gauge, and we'll create the pattern. Prices start at $30.00 per garment. Need help resizing a pattern for a custom fit, or need help gauging a pattern for a different yarn, we'll do the math. Prices start at $10.00 per garment. Need help finishing those UFO's? (un-finished-objects) Working on a project from you stash, purchased elsewhere, or one of those projects that has been hibernating so long that you're completely lost? For a $30.00 one-time fee per project, we will answer your questions, and teach you what you need to know, through the completion of your project. Help during store hours will be interrupted as we cannot provide undivided attention. If you are willing and patient, we are happy to spend time with you. Expert finishing and assembling Like to knit the pieces, but have trouble putting the sweater together, we'll do the work. Prices start at $45.00 per garment. Instructions by appointment. Tailored to your needs. Tell us what you want to learn, knit or crochet, bring 2-5 of your friends along, and we will put together a class just for you! We'll even help you with a group project.
Private instructions for 1 or 2 students: $30.00 each per hour + materials.
Groups of 3 to 6 students: $20.00 each per hour + materials.

Charles Collection' Crystal, a new lace yarn with sequins a headband to match the fingerless gloves using Mountain Colors Wool Crepe and Filatura Di Crosa's Opera D'Arte A Hoodini designed by Laura Bryant of Prism Yarns using Prism Stuffs and Trendsetter Yarns Dune and Dolcino a cardigan in Trendsetter Yarns Bombay well this one might be hibernating, but as the weather warms up ... she is determined to finish the kimono made out of scarves based on a pattern by Sally Melville using Kashmir and Cashmere 5 ply. a stole designed by Jarod Flood - the book - Made in Brooklyn - the yarn - Classic Elite's Silky Alpaca Lace and more, because Debbie just wants to start everything! She admits to 12 projects, but ... And both of us have lots of projects lined up!

when we're not making samples for the shop, we're making 7" x 9"
rectangles, knit or crochet, (machine washable yarns preferred.) We
have volunteers who are assembling the rectangles into blankets of all
sizes for Binky Patrol. The finished products are given to all-who-need. (Binky Patrol also loves your scraps.) PLEASE HELP UP BY MAKING SOME RECTANGLES, TOO!
